This map depicts the management plan study area. This is NOT a Sanctuary boundary map. The study area defines a geographic range within which marine resources, uses and management issues will be analyzed. Information about the study area will be incorporated into the Management Plan's Draft Environmental Impact Statement. The decision to define the study area as depicted below was based in part on the contracted work of Dr. Michael McGinnis and his report on the Ecological Linkages in the Marine Ecology from Point Sal to Point Mugu, including the Marine Sanctuary. make a pdf
