Scientist recently completed a research cruise using
the Delta Submersible. The purpose of this project was
to collect base-line data for the newly established
marine reserves.
This
footage was taken from the Delta Submersible in the Channel
Islands Natl Marine Sanctuary, among the many underwater
delights you can view a sixgill shark in its habitat.

Research
Coordinator Sarah Fangman was on a 4 day expedition for
Marine Reserves using the Delta Submersible in the proposed
Marine Reserves area of the Channel Islands National Marine
Sanctuary.

the Sanctuary Quest Mission, April 2002. Side Scan Sonar
was used to gather info. about what was on the sea floor.
