Whale Watching: Join Channel
Islands Naturalist Corps volunteers on boardparticipating vessels and discover over 28 species
of whales and dolphins documented in the Sanctuary. See gray
whales during their migration between Alaska and Baja January
- April and experience rare and endangered blue whales and
humpback whales feeding in the nutrient rich waters of the
Sanctuary May - September.

Dive trips sponsored by the Sanctuary are geared toward non-consumptive
use of the resources.

photography workshops with local experts on board to provide hands-on
instruction

round fish surveys are conducted to support data collected by REEF
Diver Uplink Cruises: The Sanctuary also provides special cruises
for non-divers that offer a diver-conducted video tour of the kelp
forests and underwater reefs using state-of-the-art equipment for
full two-way interaction between observers and the dive team
