Ituna was enroute to Reedsport, Oregon from San Francisco, California with a cargo of machinery and cement. The vessel foundered in a storm 15 miles northwest of the San Francisco Lightship, resulting the loss of two crewman. All crew was notified and lifeboats launched. Steamer W. S.
